Only things that have already happened
A publication here has to be about something that already exists and that you can go and check. Something shipped, something decided, something changed.
Plans, intentions and expectations are not news. If a sentence needs "will", "soon" or "we plan to", it does not belong on this surface.
The three labels
Every publication carries one of three labels, shown at the top and readable by machines as well as people.
Our own record means we are describing our own work, and the thing described is the evidence. Verified means external material where a person opened every source listed at the bottom and confirmed every factual sentence against it. Reported, not verified means external material we are passing on without having done that work — and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.
When we cannot decide between the second and the third, the answer is the third. Doubt resolves downward.
Sources
Any claim that is not about ourselves names its sources, each one a link you can open. A source has to support the specific sentence it is attached to, not the general topic.
We cite the institution that produced a fact rather than the outlet that reported it, wherever the primary source exists. We do not link anything we have not opened, and we never cite ourselves as evidence for an external claim.
When we get it wrong
Nothing here is ever silently rewritten. A typo gets fixed quietly; anything that changes meaning does not.
If new true information arrives, the publication is marked as updated and the material is added. If something we published was wrong, we fix the error in the text and add a correction note at the end saying what was wrong, what is right and when we changed it. The fact that we were wrong stays on the page.
If a claim we labelled as verified turns out not to be supported, we change the label and publish the correction. Changing the label on its own would be a silent rewrite, so we treat it as one.
What we do not do
No prices, offers, guarantees or performance claims — those belong to a product, not to a record. No description of this company as bigger than it is.
We also do not speak for the other businesses of the holding. When one of them has something to announce, it announces it, and we link to it.
